How to prevent emails from ending up in the Promotions tab in Gmail

You may have trouble finding an email (and responding to a limited time offer!) when it ends up in your Promotions tab. To prevent this, follow these instructions…

  • Look for the email in the Promotions tab, then drag and drop it into the Primary tab.
  • When the message asks if you would like to do this for future messages from this sender, select “Yes”.
  • Now, those emails will always go to your primary inbox.
